He is an advisor to the Swedish Government in the modernization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Swedish Foreign Service, involving alignment of all ministerial and ambassadorial staff around core values and guiding principles.

He is an advisor and personal coach to the CEO and other senior executives of McDonald’s Restaurants Corporation, the world’s largest restaurant business and is playing a key role in the companies international revitalisation. He was special advisor to Mexican President Vicente Fox and the Presidential Office of Government Innovation responsible for Strategic Focusing and Government Reform in the Ministries of Education, Energy, Transport and Communications.

In Mexico he was responsible for leadership development of the Presidential Cabinet. He has been a key advisor in the organizational reform and culture change within the Mexican Federal Ministry of Education and was awarded the Presidents 2002 INNOVA Award for Innovation in Government.

He was a member of the Danish Government’s international think-tank on Social Cohesion; an advisor to the International Institute of Democracy on the Balkans Stability Pact and is presently a strategy advisor to the Centre for Democracy and Reconciliation in South Eastern Europe. He has been an advisor in innovation and organizational reform to the Governments of Australia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Thailand, Sweden and Serbia.

He has been a visiting lecturer in leadership at MIT, Harvard, Notre Dame, Copenhagen Business School and IHM Business School in Sweden.

He is widely recognised speaker on leadership, business turnaround, organisational change and cross-cultural management.
