Cosworth has announced the appointment of Mark Gallagher as the leader of the Group's Formula 1 Business Unit.
Mark Gallagher brings a wealth of experience in the world of professional motorsport gained during 26 years working in Formula One, WRC and A1GP. Formerly with Jordan Grand Prix and Jaguar Racing between 1995 and 2005, Mark joins Cosworth from Status Grand Prix Ltd, the team he co-founded in 2005 and guided to victory for Ireland in the 2008/09 A1GP World Cup of Motorsport™.
As Business Unit Leader for Cosworth’s Formula 1 operations, Mark Gallagher will play a crucial role in delivering the performance that Cosworth’s F1 customers will rely on. He will represent Cosworth at the track and be fully responsible for coordination of Cosworth’s relationship with its customers.
